Community Block Party in August
Another successful annual Block party featured inflatable castle and slide, face painting, ice cream truck, and bean bag toss tournament, along with a barbecue and potluck. prairiestar and richfield Homes were sponsors for the event.

Weekly Volleyball Games for PrairieStar Residents
Summertime activities include Wednesday evening volleyball games for adults and kids.
Annual Community-wide Garage Sale
Every June at PrairieStar, neighbors at PrairieStar have an 3-day garage sale with over 20 neighbors participating this year.
Movie @ the Park
Family-friendly films began this summer with a big screen and a popcorn machine!
PrairieStar Community Facebook Group
Community residents share news and comments on their exclusive Facebook group with an additional “Tool and Service Exchange” group.
Little Free Library
PrairieStar residents inspire readers with the Little Free Library, a free book exchange program.
Community Gardening
The Gardens at PrairiStar provides a central location for individuals to grow vegetables, herbs and flowers while building community spirit.
